ABOUT NARIHIRA SENRYUKAI
In 1985, Narihira 2nd district ordered a new Mikoshi, a portable shrine, and established a junior organization. This organization then junior organization was dismantled, the Narihira Senryukai began operating independently, led by the members. Narihira Senryukai has been supported by Asakusa Umamichi Senryukai through guidance and space for practices. In 2019, Narihira Senryukai celebrated its 34th year.

Playing in a group of five people, the instruments are: a bamboo flute, a hand-bell, a big drum, and two high drums.

Matsuri Bayashi is a traditional festival music that local people developed for Festivals. Each local community has their own music and have practiced and inherited it. Our festival music includes these songs: Nageai, Yatai, Shoden, Kamakura, Shichome, and AgariYatai
